Review: Touched by Elisa S Amore

Star Rating: 4/5 stars

Recommend: Yes!!!

Touched was a great fast paced and enjoyable read.

You follow Gemma, an ordinary girl who lives in a plain town. She evolves her life around photography, her few friends and of course.. reading. By a chance encounter she meets a boy named Evan and she quickly falls in love with him.
However, Evan isn't an ordinary boy. He's an angel, but not any angel.

An Angel of Death.

You see Gemma slowly loose herself when she is around Evan. It's cute in a comical way.

I had a hard time at first. I was rather confused with the near answers that just ended up being pushed further into the book. At one point I was just past the middle and I wondered is she ever going to figure out this secret? Or will she be oblivious through out the whole thing?
That kind of suspense got me. I was so anxious for her to find out that he was indeed an angel. It just took quite some time.

While reading this book, I had a moment of remembering my Hush Hush days. Excitement, adventure, torment. That and I was able to relate to the character quite well.

However in the end, I had the characters that I liked, those that I hated and those that had me utterly confused.

In the conclusion of my utterly short and simple review (just how I like them) this book did end leaving me with more questions then answers. But as I say, ‎c'est la vie.
In the end, it was a good book. I bought book 2 (Unfaithful) that I will be starting her before long.
