So in his post I decided to share the books that were my worst reads. I understand everyone had there own opinions. But these were either so bad I cajoled finish them, or I did and I was highly disappointed.
So Here are their books.
Warm Bodies, was the first one. I read that one when the movie came out. I was so creeped out, I almost didn't want to see the movie. My brother actually saw it before I did. I remember cornering him and asking if certain scenes were in it. He looked at me like I was crazy. I ended up telling him that they all were in the book. He then goes "oh! I get it. But no they weren't in the movie." I then preceded to watch the movie, which I say, was a whole lot better than the book.
Next was Fifty Shades of Grey. Oooooo how I HATED that book. It was so terribly written, I couldn't get past the contract. Which, if you have read the book, you know that wasn't very far anyway. I only read this book to see what the hype was. I was disappointed. I never thought I would watch the movie adaption, but I did. Honestly, that movie was also better than the book.
The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. I bought this book for a 15 hour flight from Alaska to North Carolina. I was literally on chapter 1 and couldn't get into it. That was when I found out that I could never read this series. I also watched the movie adaption for this one too. I hated the movie just as much as I hated the books.
Finally, the last book is Two Graves. Ugh. This book was a total nightmare. Not only did the novel not have any flow, I was literally harassed by the company who sent me this book. Yeah, rude much. I got this book as an ARC read and I am so glad it was free. Between the lack of flow and the harassment, my experience was shot. Needless to say I was EXTREMELY disappointed with this one.
Well guys, this is it for today's post. I apologized for being MIA, I have been very busy as of late, but hope to remedy that.
