About Me

Hello! Let me start by introducing myself.

My name is Jenny Lambert. I'm an Army Brat born and raised. I have lived here, there and everywhere. The longest, though, is North Carolina for 12 years of my life before moving back in 2014.

On October 11th of 2014, I married my best friend. We meet in 4-H. It went from a goal to try and beat his high score, to a crush. As we got older, our friendship grew and we fell in love.

Together my husband and I have a little family of furry critters.

 I have my collie, Griff. 

Then we have my hubby's Thoroughbred/Belgian, Seasir. 

As a couple, we got our German Shepherd, Guinness. (Who is a handful and keeps us on our toes.)

On September 10, 2017, our family grew one fur child bigger, with our German Shepherd; Bailey.

On October 8th, 2016, my husband and I lost our home, due to Hurricane Matthew. Which also meant I lost all of my books. But I am slowly rebuilding my book shelf.

I have always been an avid book reader and a coffee addict. My first requested review came from Angela Blount with her memoir, Once Upon a Road trip. We learned we both lived in the same town and just hit it off. We are still good friends even with the long distance.

I still do reviews for authors, but now I work full time for the local hospital. So what little free time I have I try to read and spend time with my family.

I started getting into the book postings on Instagram, where I go by TheCoffeeStainedBooks and post photos of what I am reading and other books. I also post on Twitter (CoffeeStndBooks).

While this blog is about books and my thoughts/reviews on them, I also try to post things outside the bookdragon life.
