It's Been A While

I want to start with apologizing to my readers. A lot has been going on. First lets start with what this month is to me.
June is Scoliosis Awareness Month.
As a Scoliosis patient, I'm excited to here that this even exists. Scoliosis is common, but not as much. Just recently am I learning more about my condition. I even learned that there is a better treatment then what I did as a teen. The only problem?
The closest clinic is in a different state and I can't afford the treatment, even with insurance. :(

This morning I had finished listening to my first book, via Audible. I was a little weary at first on getting an Audible account. I saw it as way to expensive. Then I thought about it. I never have time to read much anymore, so why not try audiobooks. So I did. I had listened to The Ending by Lindey Pouge and Lindsey Fairleigh.
I had downloaded the second book (which I won in a contest) Into The Fire, this morning. I will be listening to it through out the day.

Speaking of Audiobooks.....
Last night I found on Audible the audio version of Touched by Elisa S Amore. Then I saw a post that Elisa did on Facebook. Apparently the second main character, Evan, was based off of Matt Lanter, who stared in Timeless. Did I forget to mention he also narrates Evan's POV???? However, that is not why I am mentioning the book in today's post.
Take a look at these covers.....
                            Audiobook Cover

                                                                                                                                   Book Cover
Look at the difference between these two covers. The audiobook cover, if I am right, looks like it has the narrators on the cover as Gemma and Evan. Emma Galvin does the voice of Gemma and Matt Lanter does Evan. Hmmmm interesting.
Now let me tell you which of the two covers I love the most.
Drumroll please?

The Audiobook. It's cleaner and it's more relatable. The book cover is dark and I have seen that picture before I ever heard of Touched. The Audiobook cover is more personal. While book cover is photo shopped so much it frustrates me. Now don't get me wrong. I loved the book, just not the cover. :)

Alright my fellow Book Dragons,

Until next time....

Jenny
