Featured Reader

I had asked my followers from Instagram if they wanted to be featured on my blog and answer some questions and share their bookish story and allow their followers to get to know them more.
So everyone meet the first Reader.
Meet Becky from Derbyshire, U.K.! She is known on Instagram as The5thBookReader. She has awesome photos on her account and is such an awesome character! She is so sweet and friendly. I highly suggest you go follow her on Instagram if you aren't already!

One of the things I had asked from her was to share what her favorite picture was, that she took. And she decided to share this!

Look at the color scheme!!!!

Now here are her answers to my little "interview" as a reader!

What was the first book/series you ever read?
This I don't actually remember very well but I think it was The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe? But I stopped reading for a while and then the first series I read was The Mortal Instruments.
What is your favorite bookish memory?
When I first took my fiancé Dave to the bookshop and he fell in love with reading again. It was amazing just to share my love of books with someone who I love.
If you could live in one book world, which one would it be?
Probably the Vampire Academy world I know it's pretty much the same as ours now but the vamps are so cool.
Who are some of your favorite authors?
Cassandra Clare, Cecelia Ahern and probably Marie Lu just to name a few.
Where is your favorite reading spot?
Definitely has to be in my bed with all my pillows, blankets and a big cup of tea.
What is your favorite genre to read?
This is mainly anything with Romance in it, it could be fantasy with romance if that makes sense. If it has romance in it I probably will read it.
What books/authors do you recommend to other readers?
Markus Zusak - he's incredible some people are scared to read books written by him. Giovanna Fletcher - her books are incredible!
What is your biggest bookish pet peeve?
I don't really have one to be honest I'm pretty open minded.
Which book to movie adaptation is your favorite?
Hands down A Monster Calls, we did a video review we loved it that much.
Have you ever reread a book?
I've tried but I just like to read new material unless I'm in the mood to relive a certain story like The Fault In Our Stars.
What book(s) are you looking towards in 2017?
Oh my, so many. Hands down my all time most anticipated has to be Lord Of Shadows by Cassandra Clare.
What is your favorite under-appreciated novel?
Probably Wither by Lauren Destefano
What was your favorite book growing up and why?
Can't remember unfortunately.
How do you decide what theme you do for what book?
I'm guessing this means when I'm taking a photo. I normally try to find something that relates to the story or is a similar colour to the cover. I do also like to share where I'm reading from.
Is there a book you will never read?
Probably I just haven't come across it yet.
What made you choose the Instagram name you go by?
I fell in love with The 5th Wave when I created my account and blog and just mashed them together :).
Do you prefer ebooks over physical books?
It depends on how big the book is, if it's less that 400 pages I'll read it physically if not I'll get the ebook.
Is there a fandom you are apart of?
To be totally honest I'm not, I just get excited when I see other people enjoying the same books I do.
What is your go-to hashtag for bookstagram?
Probably #bookblogger just simply because it's what I do and I can find new book bloggers to check out on the hashtag.

Becky was kind enough to share what her favorite quote is. She says "It just speaks to me in a way of things are meant to happen."

“Some things you can never leave behind. They don't belong to the past. They belong to you.”― Rick YanceyThe 5th Wave

Love your quote, Becky! That line stood out to me too, when I read The 5th Wave.
