Review: Conflict (ARC) By Shannon Drawe

3.5 stars. Review to come shortly

I received a copy of this book in return for an honest review.

This book gave me a feel of The Hunger Games with Super naturals

To start off, we have the main character, Vivian. A vampire and "ruler" of Nevada, mainly, Las Vegas. Vivian has her two "children", Lily and Alec, and her "brother" Dom, to help her rule her territory. However, Lily gets kidnapped which then forces Vivian's hand into the Conflicts.

A barbaric game to the death between all supernaturals. Vampires, Weres and Witches, etc.

The concept of the book is intriguing. Throw a bunch of immortals into a fight to the death, literally. However, I felt a bit lost in places. In the beginning, you are introduced to a lot of characters. You get back stories of almost every character introduced and Vivian tells you why they are important to her or not important.

Also there is way too much sexual tension between Vivian and her bodyguard werelion, Jake. Not only is there to much, but I don't think anything happened either. It was just......there.

The book wasn't terrible, but it's not on my favorites list either. There are many good points to this book. But it is ones of those, you have to read it for yourself.

However I will tease with this...... something interesting happens to Lily. You must read it to find out. As always, I NEVER do spoilers.
