My Review:
| I started reading this book because it was in the POV of someone who has PTSD. I had no clue there were two POVs with PTSD. This book made me question everything. I was able to relate with the characters. Which is shocking. I, myself, have PTSD but not as severe as our characters. So I felt like I was resonating with what I was reading. Dana's thought process is very similar to mine. And who our murderer is and how she figures it out what not how I was expecting. I really enjoyed this book. I hope I could find more like it  |

I Am Writing a BOOK????
You read that correctly. Your girl is writing a book. I had announced on Instagram and TikTok that I was writing my first novel.
While it is a slow process for me, I am really excited to get this adventure out of my head and share it.
I read a quote that said "Write what you want to read." So that is what I am doing. This storyline was supposed to go a different route. More contemporary. But as I wrote it, something happened.

Why I Have a Hard Time with ACOTAR
So lately we have the fan-dom of ACOTAR (A Court of Thorns and Roses) going hay-wire and doing some pretty stupid things. They went from just admiring the work of Sarah J. Maas to hard-core bullies in just a matter of a few short years.
Tonight I just finished A Court of Frost and Starlight, only to realize something sad and depressing.
The magic has died.
And I can't believe I am saying this, but it truly has died. Here's why.

My Review:
| Okay. I'll admit I wasn't a fan of The Cruel Prince. But I purchased the rest of the series knowing it will get better. With the headache that came with the plot twist and plans. Murder and betrayals. I wasn't expecting to find saga that is The Wicked King to be just that. Wicked. Cardan..... Ugh. I was starting to like him against my better judgement. But now. Now I don't know what to think. Jude, I feel like never grows up. She's stuck in playing a game and won't get herself out of it. All her decisions are horrible and I hate it. I don't particularly care for Jude either. She's our main character and I am not a fan. I gave this book 3 starts for the saga. The mayhem. The betrayals and the schemes. The world of Faerie is still magical and keeps you on your toes. However, our heroine's journey annoys me. Her lack of growth is...... Lacking. I'm hoping that in Queen of Nothing she becomes better. Someone I can root for. Someone who comes back out and says "surprise I'm here for more." But right now her character is that much of a child. She thinks she's so high and mighty that she doesn't see that she messes up all the time. As for Cardan. I so badly want to like this character. But right now, I hate him. The fandom that exists for this series gave me so much promise. But I'm not seeing what they see |
