Recommend: It's okay
Summary:
Emma is just another sports reporter...except she hates sports. Ryan is just another hockey goalie...except an injury has his career in doubt. What happens when these two are forced to live with each other over the course of the year? Will it simply be Just Another Season or will sparks fly?
Review:
I received a copy of this book for an honest review. Honestly I didn't love it. So in this book you're following Emma who is a reporter for a local hockey team. While she's doing her reporting she learns a quite a few things about each player. She then falls in love with one French or Canadian player and had a thing for a local player. She learns a terrible secret about the French player and the local player while she's having a relationship with the French player. She finds out that the French player is in fact bisexual. Only to find out that the player that she has become to hate has a thing for the bisexual player even though she had a crush on him. Eventually things turn out a little bit difficult for Emma as she not only becomes a victim of a cheating party but she ends up becoming a victim of a betting party. The betting party was between the French player and his cousin in hopes to who can get into Emma's pants the fastest. Emma finds this out after she ends up engaged to the French player. Only two in the and leave the French player for his deceit and end up with the other player that she had a crush on and it just because a whole fiasco after that. I try not to dwell on the problems of the books but here's my problem. Problem number one Emma ends up in a relationship with the French player only to find out he's bisexual. Problem number two, Emma ends up with the original player that she had a crush on even though she had told him to basically F off and she doesn't even like him. So in the end this is just basically a fiasco of a book. I will probably read book number two only to find out if she ends up going back to the French player she originally loves. But if we're going to have these issues of the French player leaving Emma or Emma sticking with the current player that she's dating with even though they're technically not dating and are moving in together it's just going to be an interesting story to say the least.
